As part of its Holiday Big Deals event, the online shopping outlet is selling the iRobot Roomba i6 with Clean Base for $599.98. Normally $809.99, this robot vacuum is now available at a 26% discount—even better, it's sold with the iRobot Clean Base dirt disposal tower not normally included with the brand's standard robot vacuum models. (The tower is typically included in Roombas with the "+" designation in its title, like our favorite robot vacuum, the Roomba i7+).
It may not have any symbol on the end of its name, but the i6 is essentially the same as the Roomba i6+ ($729.99 at Amazon), which we ranked among our favorite Roombas. In our testing, the i6+ "killed it" when it came to dirt pickup, collecting the same average of 10.45 grams of dirt per run as the i7+. The i6+ was also easy to control thanks to the iRobot Home app, which let our testers schedule specific times and places for the Roomba to clean during the day.
The good news is that the only difference between the i6 and the i6+ is the Clean Base tower, normally included with purchases of the i6+ and now sold with the i6 on QVC. With the tower, your Roomba can simply return to its charging base and empty out the dirt it collected on its own before going back to work. Even better, the self-sealing bag within the Clean Base has a 3.8-liter capacity, which means fewer trips to empty it out.
If you need something to tackle the ever-present dust and crumbs, the Roomba i6 will get the job done. With the power of the robot vacuum and the ease of the dirt disposal tower, it's hard to beat this offer—just don't wait too long.
