Samuel L Jackson lines up next lead movie role
Samuel L Jackson has lined up his next lead movie role, joining the cast for Head Games with Henry Golding.
As per Deadline, the pair will star in the sci-fi thriller, which follows a corporate spy who poses as a personal chef to infiltrate the villa of a former founder of a neuroprosthetics firm.
The aim of the game is to steal his “seismic-shifting new invention”, but the logline teases that “nothing is as it seems as the mind games begin”.

The film will be directed by Anthony Mandler (Monster, Surrounded) with the script being penned by Colin Liddle, best known for his work on Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
The project is due to start principal photography in October, with Higher Standard, Brillstein Entertainment and Range Media handling production.
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring this brilliant script to life. Head Games is a propulsive story that pushes the boundaries of what we know as reality and what could ultimately become fiction before our eyes,” said Jeffrey Greenstein of Higher Standard.
“The buildup and ultimate unravelling of these characters is both a metaphor for our culture today as well as a foreshadowing to what’s to come. I couldn’t think of two better actors to bring Graham and Jacob to life than Sam and Henry.”

Before Head Games hits the big screen, Jackson will be seen alongside Kevin Hart in Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, a limited series from Peacock based on boxing legend, Muhammad Ali.
As per the logline, the series will tell “the infamous story of how an armed robbery during the night of Muhammad Ali's historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man's life, but an entire city's destiny.”
There is no release date for Head Games.
