Sam Faiers leads celebrities and their families attending a special screening of Netflix’s Gabby’s Dollhouse

Sam Faiers and Abbie Quinnen led the charge of celebrities and their families hitting the pink carpet at a special screening of Gabby’s Dollhouse in London at the weekend.

The former The Only Way is Essex star Faiers, 32, was all smiles as she and her five-year-old daughter Rosie posed alongside a costumed character of Gabby and her cat friend Cakey.

Meanwhile, dancer and influencer Quinnen, 25, brought her niece Edie along for the event at the Curzon Soho and could be seen getting stuck into some arts and crafts fun in the foyer.

Originally launched in 2021 and aimed at young children, the Netflix show mixes live action with animation as it follows the adventures of Gabby (played by Laila Lockhart), who uses a pair of magical cat ears to shrink in size and transport herself into her cat-themed dollhouse for all kinds of wonderful adventures inspired by a surprise gift she receives at the start of the story.

In addition to watching a double-bill screening of two new episodes from season seven, which began streaming on March 20, there was a specially-made cake, plus the chance for young fans to play with some of the toys inspired by the hit show, including Gabby’s Purrfect Dollhouse.

Rapper Tinchy Stryder, 36, was an unexpected face amongst the gaggle of excited cat ear-wearing children lining up to get glitter tattoos in the pink and purple balloon-filled room.

Laughing, the Number 1 hit-maker — real name Kwasi Danquah III — said his daughter Arabella was the boss today, describing her as “Gabby’s Dollhouse obsessed”.

He was also joined by his partner Amba Miller and their toddler son.

Another dad earning major brownie points was 36-year-old JLS star-turned-farmer JB Gill.

Toting a fetching unicorn backpack belonging to four-year-old daughter Chiara, who accompanied him, he told the Standard that he and his JLS bandmates can’t wait to hit the road again later this year after announcing last month that they are reforming for a massive UK arena tour, including two dates at the London O2 Arena.

JLS originally went on hiatus in 2013 and the last time that they toured was 2021.

Acknowledging that this year is shaping up to be the year of the comeback with S Club 7, B*witched and Busted also reuniting, he called it “exciting” and joked they had started a trend.

Other stars getting in on the cat-tastic fun were former Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt and TV presenter Ria Hebden.
