Sacramento goes bananas: Popular baseball circus to make stop in Northern California on world tour

They've maybe popped up on your social media feed and now they're coming to Northern California – the national phenomenon Savannah Bananas. The Bananas will be gracing the Sacramento area and bringing their “World Famous Baseball Circus” to Sutter Health Park on July 29, 2023, for the team’s Banana Ball World Tour. But the team isn’t just playing your typical game of baseball — they’re playing Banana Ball, a fast-paced game “with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if it’s tied.”
