Sacha Baron Cohen thought Golden Globe virtual rooms were ‘incredibly awkward’

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” star Sacha Baron Cohen appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday, where he discussed winning two Golden Globes and the downside to being stuck in a virtual green room.

“We were all wishing each other luck,” Cohen said. “Then, actually, after I'd won both of them, they put me back in the room with the other nominees and it was incredibly awkward.”

Apparently, Cohen’s fellow nominees, who lost for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy and Best Picture - Musical or Comedy, weren’t as happy about him winning.

“I was just saying, listen, guys, we're all winners,” Cohen said. “But they hated me. They hated me.”
