Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has confirmed the name and sex of his and wife Blake Lively's fourth child.

The couple, who have been married since 2012, welcomed their youngest child in early 2023. They also share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.

Reynolds shared the sex of his baby during an emotional YouTube interview with Wrexham AFC fan John Bell, who candidly spoke about the death of his son Jake – who was a massive Deadpool fan.

"I'm very grateful that you shared his story," said Reynolds. "I want to share with you that I, too, have a son. Boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I've done a pretty damn good job."

Reynolds revealed his son's name during the New York City premiere of his latest blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine earlier this week (July 22). While speaking before the screening, the star took a moment to thank his wife and four children.

"I just want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who's here. Her outfit is amazing, spoiler alert," he said.

"I want to thank my kids – James, Inez, Betty, Olin – who are here. I hope that, if I'm lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – that is, the contents of this movie – that happens in your wondrous life."
