‘The ruins that used to be a school’ – Russia uses guided bomb to destroy a school in Kherson Oblast
Russians dropped a guided bomb on a school in the Dariyivka community of Kherson Oblast during the night of Nov. 5, completely destroying the school building, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on Telegram.
He shared a video showing the “ruins that used to be a school.
”A fire ignited inside the building following the bomb strike, which was later extinguished by rescuers, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko stated. Parts of the structure later collapsed.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Russian forces conducted nine airstrikes in Kherson Oblast over the past day, using over 50 guided bombs, Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces reported.
