Ruffa Gutierrez makes comeback with "Love Thy Woman"

12 Apr – Ruffa Gutierrez is definitely stoked about her ABS-CBN comeback, as she was recently announced as part of the cast of the new series, "Love Thy Woman".

The actress, who last played a leading role in an ABS-CBN show in 2015's "Wansapanataym: Raprap's Wrapper", shared that she decided to hold her vacation plans just so she could participate in the series.

Gutierrez also took to social media to share the good news. In one Instagram post, she wrote, "After 10 years, I'm back with ABS-CBN and [Dreamscape] in a new teleserye ["Love Thy Woman"] directed by [Jeffrey Jeturian]. Thank you so much Sir Deo Endrinal for this amazing opportunity and to [Erickson Raymundo], [Jeff Vadillo], [Cyndy Roque] of my [Ccornerstone] family for making it happen. EXCITED!"

The actress admitted that she is happy to be working with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim - the lead stars of the said drama, having met the two of them outside of work numerous times.

Gutierrez was last seen playing a main role in a drama in the 2016 TV5 drama, "Bakit Manipis Ang Ulap". She had since only appeared in guest roles in several series and variety shows.
