Robert Downey Jr Ribs Tom Hiddleston Over Taylor Swift

Tom Hiddleston should perhaps have expected a bit of flack after joining Instagram.

And so, he got it… courtesy of one Robert Downey Jr.

Hiddleston set up his page yesterday, to much excitement among fans, and it took the ‘Iron Man’ star just minutes to take a cheeky swipe at his fellow Marvel alumnus.

Tagging the Thor star and dropping in the much published picture of Hiddles wearing his ‘I heart T.S.’ t-shirt, Downey Jr captioned: “Join me in welcoming the biggest T. Stark fan of them all to Instagram!”

The t-shirt, of course, refers to Hiddleston’s rather public goings on with the pop star Taylor Swift.

Presumably, he took it all in great humour, and clearly fans loved it, soon affording it nearly 250,000 likes.

Hiddleston posted his first picture on the social network yesterday, a snap from the set of ‘Thor: Ragnorok’, in which he’ll be reprising his role as the villainous Loki.

The movie, directed by Taika Waititi and also starring Karl Urban, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, and Anthony Hopkins, is out in October, 2017.
