John Terry and Rio Ferdinand are among 15 legends who have been nominated for a spot in the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Fans will now vote on which of their heroes from Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and more will be honoured with an online poll underway for the next fortnight.

Opened in 2021, the Hall of Fame recently welcomed Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson as two of the five inductees for this year.

The further three will be selected by fans from the 15-name shortlist announced on Thursday from a cohort of iconic players.

Arsenal are represented by Tony Adams and Sol Campbell while former Gunners defender Ashley Cole joins Terry and Petr Cech in being nominated from Chelsea.

Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic and Michael Carrick have been picked from Man United with Yaya Toure the sole candidate from Manchester City.

Strike partners Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler are on the list from Liverpool, along with Les Ferdinand and Jermain Defoe who both turned out for Tottenham among others. Former Newcastle, Man United and Fulham forward Andrew Cole completes the 15-man list.

The winner will be announced on May 3 - and you can vote here.
