'Renovation Island' Star Sarah Baeumler Wears See-Through Dress for Rare Red Carpet Appearance
HGTV fans are used to seeing Sarah Baeumler in more casual attire on Renovation Island and Rock the Block. But when the 45-year-old designer stepped out for a very special evening, she kicked off her boots and went full glam in a head-turning look.
Sarah walked the red carpet for the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards, where she and her husband Bryan were nominated for Best Host in the Lifestyle category for their work on Island of Bryan (as Renovation Island is known in Canada). When the nominations were announced, she said she was "so grateful to be recognized by @thecdnacademy amongst a caliber of Canadian talent 🇨🇦." Sarah and Bryan ultimately lost out to Drew and Jonathan Scott for Property Brothers: Forever Home, but Sarah looked incredible for the high-profile event.
Sarah wore a black see-through dress with polka-dot details and a long tulle skirt over black underwear. She paired the look with an elegant updo and gold heels. Bryan did not accompany her on the red carpet.
HGTV fans are eager to see more of Sarah. While there is no return date set for Renovation Island, the Baeumlers will be back on HGTV soon when Battle on the Beach returns for its third season on June 4. The couple serves as expert judges while Ty Pennington (Rock the Block), Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab), and Tanya Nayak (Build It Forward) coach their teams of renovators to update homes in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
