Police in Regina said a 13-year-old girl, who was the subject of a missing persons report on Saturday, was found unharmed.

The girl was reported missing on April 10. Police said they were searching for her from the time the report was filed but had turned to the public for help in locating her on Saturday.

The police service thanked the public for their role in the investigation.

CBC News has removed the photo and name of the girl to protect her identity because she is a minor.
