See the 'Captain America' Fan Who Made His Face Look Like Red Skull

Henry Damon at the Venezuela Tattoo International Expo last week; Hugo Weaving in Captain America

A Venezuelan man named Henry Damon has achieved the most extreme level of fandom imaginable: Disfiguring his face to look like an evil Nazi villain named Red Skull.

Damon, who showed off his visage at the Venezuela Tattoo International Expo last week, has been systematically manipulating his features so that he resembles Captain America’s arch-nemesis, played by Hugo Weaving in Captain America: The First Avenger movie back in 2011. According to The Daily Mail, Damon had part of his nose removed, much of his face tattooed red and black, and his forehead supplemented with subdermal implants by a medical school dropout named Emilio Gonzalez.

“Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person,” Gonzalez told the Mail. “He’s an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification.”

Not sure how much he can do about it now, but Damon might want to take Gonzalez to task for making him look more like the Klingon Worf than the Marvel villain.
