Snow White actor Rachel Zegler has provided an exciting update on the live-action movie.

Posting via Instagram Stories yesterday, she uploaded a picture of herself hitting a mark on set.

"That's a wrap on Snow White and I so freakin' proud and emotional," read a caption, before appearing to give a shout-out to the cast and crew. "I love these people so much."

Zegler's co-stars include Gal Gadot (who plays the Evil Queen), Andrew Burnap, and Ansu Kabia. The film is directed by Marc Webb, while Barbie's Greta Gerwig co-wrote the screenplay with Erin Cressida Wilson.

A first look at the movie was shared back in October, showing Zegler as Snow White surrounded by the Seven Dwarfs.

Back in 2022, Zegler discussed the vitriolic fan response to her casting as Disney's princess.

"At the end of the day, I have a job to do that I'm really excited to do. I get to be a Latina princess," she said (via Variety).

"Never in a million years did I imagine that this would be a possibility for me. You don't normally see Snow Whites that are of Latin descent. Even though Snow White is really a big deal in Spanish-speaking countries."

Gadot recently shared that Snow White was the first film "in a while" that she had to audition for.

"They needed to make sure I can sing because this is a musical," she said to GQ, before discussing filming.

"It was so much fun to shoot because it's so different from anything I've ever done. It's so delicious and delightful, and I could really go big and theatrical."

Snow White is due out in cinemas on March 21, 2025.
