Prince William shuts down swirling rumor about Duchess Kate's pregnancy

Rumors that Duchess Kate is expecting twins have swirled since her pregnancy announcement in September, but Prince William finally put an end to those reports during an event on Thursday night.

The royal attended the Centrepoint Awards where he was overheard talking about baby No. 3 with Raymond Stoner, the owner of Anston Properties.

William joked that he was trying to get as much sleep as he can ahead of the April arrival of his bundle of joy, to which Stoner replied by suggesting he could have twins to save time.

"Twins? I think my mental health would be tested with twins," William replied. "Two is fine, I don't know how I'm going to cope with three, I'm going to be permanently tired."

The Kensington Palace reception honored the achievements of young people who have overcome homelessness and was attended by stars like actress Emilia Clarke.

The father of Prince George and Princess Charlotte went to the event solo without wife Kate following a four-day tour of Norway and Sweden just last week.

All eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge, who dressed to impress at several events. Her blush Alexander McQueen gown at a gala in Norway stole the show and is one of her best looks to date!
