The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to promote a cause they care deeply about: mental health awareness.

Today, Prince William and Duchess Kate traveled to Wolverhampton, where they marked Mental Health Awareness Week with visits to three organizations dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a navy blue blouse with white polka dots paired with a coordinating blazer for the outing. William also wore the dark hue, opting for a navy blue sweater under a matching jacket.

Kate's outfit was chic, but still comfortable and casual enough to allow the duchess to participate in a range of activities with young people throughout the day. One such activity was playing a round of table tennis during her and William's first engagement at The Way Youth Zone, an organization that helps young people transform their lives by providing opportunities for them to participate in positive activities and by offering a safe space and people to talk to if they need support.

During their visit at The Way, the royals also participated in well-being sessions with some of the young people who benefit from the organization's services, and connected with a group of ambassadors for HeadStart, a program designed to improve the resilience and emotional well-being of children and young people.

Next, William and Kate visited Base25, a charity that specializes in supporting young people who have difficulties accessing mainstream services. The organization offers family counseling and a daily drop-in center, where young people can take advantage of a range of services from computer access and group activities to career advice and crisis support.

Finally, the Duke and Duchess stopped by HugglePets in the Community, a nonprofit that uses Animal Assisted Therapy to work with children who have special educational needs and mental health challenges. William and Kate joined primary school children for an Animal Assisted Intervention program and later visited the organization's Sensory Activity Centre and Community Aquarium.

Tomorrow, Will and Kate will participate in voicing this year's Mental Health Minute (a 60-second message that will be simulcast across more than 500 radio stations in the United Kingdom) in support of Shout 85258, which provides countrywide free mental health support via text.
