Prince William has revealed that much to his family's relief, his royal baby boy is 'behaving himself' as he attended the annual Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey today (April 25).

William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London's Paddington on Monday (April 23).

The 35-year-old prince added: "[The baby's] sleeping's going reasonably well so far, so he's behaving himself which is good."

William was marking Anzac Day in London with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who had attended a remembrance service at Wellington Arch in London's Hyde Park Corner at dawn.

Harry laid wreaths to pay tribute to Australia and New Zealand's war dead. The day also commemorates the first major battle involving Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.

William is currently on paternity leave, and made an unexpected appearance at the service, where he greeted Markle outside with a kiss on the cheek.

Meanwhile, the new baby broke a new record upon his arrival earlier this week – he weighed the most out of William and Kate's babies.

Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a son at 11.01am GMT on Monday, and he weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

The newest royal baby's weight is one ounce higher than his older brother Prince George's weight.

The eldest of Prince William and Kate's babies weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. Princess Charlotte weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

Royal fans are hoping for the Duke and Duchess to announce the royal baby's name very soon – with speculation he could be named Arthur or James, with Philip as a middle name.
