Prince George nailed his page boy duties at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding, even going above and beyond by comforting a crying bridesmaid just moments before the ceremony started.

Royal correspondents Emily Andrews and Omid Scobie shared the sweet anecdote about George on a wedding special of On Heir, their royals-themed podcast. The reporters revealed behind-the-scene details and secrets from the big day, including how Prince George looked after two-year-old Zalie Warren, who is Prince Harry's goddaughter and was the youngest member of the bridal party, at the beginning of the ceremony.

There were no tears as the bridesmaids and page boys made their grand entrance into St. George's Chapel. Once there, they waited for the bride to arrive. But then little Zalie started crying and George swooped in to help.

"Poor Zalie Warren had a bit of a meltdown," Andrews revealed in the podcast. "She's only two. She started crying when they were waiting for Meghan. It was only a couple of minutes. So Nanny Maria Borrallo kind of looked after her, and George apparently was trying to comfort her as well, which is very sweet."

As Andrews said, Prince George and Princess Charlotte's nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, was on call to help with the 10 bridesmaids and page boys. Borrallo was photographed holding a crying Zalie during the wedding ceremony.

Luckily, Zalie was a trooper for the rest of the wedding after her moment of tears. She even posed for official wedding portraits after the ceremony-no easy task for a two-year-old!

George's sister also took a leading role in the royal wedding. Princess Charlotte reportedly kept the rest of the wedding party on task, telling the bridesmaids when they were allowed to move forward. "There was one girl who wanted to go and she said, ‘No you can’t go yet, We have to wait until we are asked,'" a wedding guest told People."She was really organized!"
