Prince Charles and Camilla light candle for Holocaust Memorial Day

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla lit a candle to mark Holocaust Memorial Day following an online service commemorating the atrocity. The Duke of Cornwall, who is patron of the HMD Trust, also spoke about fake news and criticised Holocaust deniers during a message ahead of the service. The couple would usually attend in person but the service was moved to online only because of the coronavirus pandemic. They were joined by celebrities and public figures who lit candles in their own homes and encouraged others to do the same, and share pictures online.
