Yahoo Movies Pregnant daughter thinks dad is going to kick her out, discovers he’s building a bigger room instead
When this mom was still pregnant, she wasn’t sure if she would have to go through it alone.
Vanessa, a mother on TikTok, shared an intimate story about her relationship with her dad. She lived at home, and when she became pregnant with her baby girl, Vanessa feared her dad would disapprove and kick her out.
Instead, her father’s response totally caught her off guard.

“Me worried my dad would kick me out when he found out I was pregnant,” Vanessa said.
She showed a photo of herself pregnant, holding her baby bump. But the next video in the slide was radically different than her first caption.
“My dad literally building us a room so I wouldn’t have to move out on my own,” she said.
The footage featured her father working hard to install floorboards into the new space. She then called him “the best grandpa,” showing photos of him with her baby girl.
It may not have been how Vanessa imagined her pregnancy story playing out, but it was so much better.
“Will forever cherish everything my dad does for me,” she wrote.

Her touching video received 6.6 million views. A lot of people had similar stories to hers.
“My dad didn’t say anything for three days. Finally, he showed me all things he bought my baby and what he’ll buy her in the future,” one person commented.
“My dad and mom left us their room because it was bigger for the crib and bed,” another said.
“This is a father who understands so much more than words can express. Your father is an amazing man,” a user wrote.
