Powerful Winds Lash Mexico's Southwest as Hurricane Rick Makes Landfall

Hurricane Rick made landfall in Mexico’s southwest as a Category 2 storm on October 25, bringing powerful winds of up to 165 km/h and intense rainfall.

The storm was later downgraded to a tropical depression as it made its way inland towards Jalisco state.
