Postal deliveries to Neebing being monitored

Neebing, Ont. -- Canada Post says it resolved this week some delivery mix-ups that left a handful of Neebing customers scratching their heads. One customer wrote online that “Canada Post delivered my parcel and sent a picture of the door where they delivered it.” “Unfortunately,” the customer added, “it’s not my door.” Another would-be recipient said they were still trying to track down a box that had supposedly been delivered last week. Neebing doesn’t have a postal depot. Residents access their mail by community boxes, or by having it delivered to their residence. After being told about the wrong deliveries, Canada Post said “we promptly forwarded these concerns to our local operations team, and they have resolved them with the customers (on Thursday).” “Our local operations team has also reviewed procedures and processes with our delivery agents, and deliveries to the community will be monitored daily,” said a spokesman for the postal service. Delivery problems can be directed to Canada Post online at canadapost.ca/support, or by calling 1-866-607-6301.
