Police Disperse Protest at Iranian Embassy in Paris

Around 4,000 protesters marched on the Iranian Embassy in Paris on Sunday, September 25, following the death in police custody of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in Iran earlier this month, local media reported.

Footage recorded near the embassy shows protesters near the embassy as what the source said was tear gas fills the air.

Local media reported also reported the use of tear gas.

A police statement, quoted in local media, said officers had used “intermediate means of intervention” when protesters attempted to break through a roadblock to reach the embassy.

One person was arrested and an officer injured, the police statement said.
