Piers Morgan shames Daniel Craig using 'emasculating' baby carrier for his newborn daughter: 'We need a new James Bond'

Add men with baby carriers to the list of things Piers Morgan doesn’t like.

Morgan, who is known for his trolling on social media, set his sights on James Bond himself, actor Daniel Craig, on Sunday. The British TV host called out Craig for carrying, of all things, the daughter he and actress Rachel Weisz had in September. Morgan posted a photo of Craig dressed in casual clothes, walking around with a carrier. He captioned it, “Oh 007.. not you as well?!!!”

Morgan returned to the subject Monday, responding to some of the critics of his first tweet. He argued against people who said the image of Craig with his little one in a carrier proved Craig is a good parent. Morgan wasn’t having it.

He even gave the debate a nickname of — what else? — Papoose-gate.

Later, Morgan tagged President Trump to weigh in on the debate. Trump, after all, is an avid Twitter user, and he knows Morgan, who competed on Celebrity Apprentice in 2008.

Morgan eventually just flat-out suggested that he be the one to take over the Bond role. See what he did there?

Craig is slated to introduce himself as “Bond, James Bond” in his fifth Bond film, and the 25th installment in the franchise, scheduled for release in 2020. After that, actors, including Idris Elba, have been talked about as a replacement.

Elba has said that it won’t be him, but we still don’t like Morgan’s chances.
