'It's a Wonderful Life' – It doesn’t get any more classic than Frank Capra's 1946 tale of down-on-his-luck family man George Bailey (James Stewart) and his guardian angel Clarence Odbody. Though it may feel old fashioned and overly-sentimental at times, "It's a Wonderful Life" has aged much more gracefully than most Hollywood films of the era, thanks in large part to Stewart's memorable performance as the selfless everyman Bailey and the deep (and sometimes dark) themes the film deals with. Almost 70 years after it was made, "It's a Wonderful Life" continues to be a classic holiday standard for people around the world.
