Duke (8-4, 5-3 ACC) defeated Wake Forest 34-31 in the Blue Devils’ regular-season finale on Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Duke, which was already bowl-eligible, finished the regular season with its best record in eight years. Wake Forest had won the previous three matchups in the series.

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on Friday rejected criticism over the arrests of journalists and said the fact that people had access to the internet meant press freedom was assured. "We must protect our media landscape from external negative influences, just like any other country, and everyone must comply with the laws," Aliyev told a joint news conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a visit to Berlin. It was the first time Aliyev had spoken publicly about the arrests, which have prompted strong concern from the United States, the European Union and press watchdogs.

A recent survey of IT workers by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, found that more than half of professionals in the field feared AI deepfakes could affect the results of the upcoming general election. As Londoners head to the polls next week to vote in the mayoral election, Sadiq Khan has already been the victim of AI deepfake audio.
