With the win, the Blue Devils notched their second consecutive 3-0 start under head coach Mike Elko. Duke was led with two rushing touchdowns each from Riley Leonard and Jordan Waters.
The Blue Devils will face UConn next Saturday on the road.

Britain’s inquiry into the response to the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the nation entered its second phase Tuesday, with political decision-making around major developments, such as the timing of lockdowns, set to take center stage. Much criticism preceded the start of the so-called Module 2, the second of four planned phases of the inquiry, as it was set to hear in person only from one bereaved family member. Chair Judge Heather Hallett insisted that the voices of the bereaved will not be ignored.
NASCAR on Tuesday fined Matt Crafton $25,000 for punching fellow driver Nick Sanchez following the Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. Sanchez was fined $5,000 and his father, Rene, was suspended for the remaining two races of the Truck Series season for getting involved. Sanchez believed the three-time Truck Series champion broke his nose when Crafton “sucker punched” him post-race Saturday in the Talladega garage.
Pirelli's Chinese investors Sinochem and Silk Road Fund have decided not to extend their agreement to work together on some issues at the tyremaker, the Italian group said on Tuesday. The two investors, which hold stakes of 37% and 9% respectively, had initially signed the shareholder agreement in 2020. As part of it, Silk Road Fund had committed to follow Sinochem's votes at Pirelli shareholder meetings on selected matters for a stake comprising 5% out of their total 9%.
The EU is considering unlocking billions of euros for Hungary that were frozen over rule-of-law concerns as it seeks to win Budapest's approval for aid to Ukraine, including a start to membership talks for Kyiv, according to senior officials. EU officials told Reuters that laws passed by Hungary this summer to increase judicial independence had brought a deal closer on unfreezing part of some 22 billion euros ($23 billion)in economic development aid.
A Metropolitan Police officer is accused raping two different women in the space of 11 days including an attack when one of the alleged victims says she was asleep, a court has heard. PC Rupert Edwards, 30, went to bed consensually with both women but went on to attack them later in the evenings after consent had been withdrawn, it is said. Prosecutor Robert Brown said the woman “remembered kissing” Edwards in the bar during the evening, and they headed home together at 3am.
