A house fire in the Elverta area of Sacramento County has drawn a large first responder presence. Officials believe a person was barricaded inside. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District law enforcement was at the home in the 2400 block of Covered Wagon Circle before it caught fire around 4:25 p.m.
