We were all so happy and excited to hear the news earlier this week that the second generation of Little Mix is well on its way! Not only are Little Mix's Leigh-Anne and her fiancé Andre Gray pregnant with their first child, but so too are bandmate Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. But while we were all learning the adorable news, some fans spotted a tweet from Perrie's mum Deborah, which seemed to let slip Perrie's baby news a week early.

In response to Leigh-Anne's pregnancy announcement on 4th May, Perrie's mum shared the pictures on Twitter along with the caption, "Massive congratulations to Leigh Anne and Andre.. babies on tour xx can’t wait xx," and it wasn't long before people picked up on her using the word "babies" rather than "baby".

One fan wrote, "babIES?! like PLURAL?! OMG!?! *faints*" while another wrote "wait...what do you mean babieS?"

Of course there are many more comments like this, as fans tried to work out if it was just a typo or a slip of the tongue, but Deborah left the tweet as is and remained tight-lipped until the news of Perrie's pregnancy officially broke six days later.

Once Perrie and Alex announced the pregnancy in that adorable black and white photoshoot which they posted on Instagram, Deborah then followed up with another tweet congratulating the pair and essentially saying 'told you so'.

This is all very cute excited-to-be-a-grandparent behaviour and we support it totally. Congratulations Deborah!
