In light of Khloe Kardashian's birthday yesterday (happy birthday, KoKo!), many video and picture tributes have been shared to Instagram. We've seen posts from her sister Kourtney, where she looks exactly like her son, Mason, as well as a very very funny video of a tipsy Kris Jenner... but that's a story of another day.
As noteworthy as those two Kar-Jenner moments are, a third that takes the [birthday] cake has to be this video of Khloe attempting to curl her own hair. Her hairstylist and long-time friend, Jen Atkin, shared the video to her IG feed along with the caption: "We sure lived, laughed and loved during our annoying stage. HBD my @khloekardashian!!! ♥️♥️♥️".
I mean, if there were ever a hot-button beauty issue, people attempting and (I am sorry to say) failing to curl their own hair would be it.
As we can see, Khlo seems to be struggling to grasp the hang of how to hold the curling tong as well as which direction she should be wrapping the hair. And if I'm being completely honest, sometimes I struggle too, girl – it ain't easy!!!
In response to the post, Khloe wrote in the comments: "Dear lord! Not the hair tutorial video 🤦🏼♀️ by the way, still can’t do it". TBF, she need not know how to "do it" considering her trusted hair expert, Jen, is always on hand. Ahhh, what I would do to have my very own Jen.
Of course, to no surprise, fans found the video just as funny as we did and left words of sympathy in the comments section.
One wrote: "😂😂😂😂 love her".
Another said: "It's kinda frickin hard to curl own hair lol".
Whilst someone else commented: "That’s me!! I’m so bad it’s pathetic!".
In fact, other users even likened the video to Kendall Jenner's cucumber gate, writing:
"Still better than Kendal cutting a cucumber".
"it’s like kendall but with a curling iron Ly ❤️🔥🧑🎤".
If you too struggle with curling your own hair (my dexterity downfall is chopsticks, if you wondered), then just remember, you're not alone. It gets the best of us – even Khloe Kardashian...
