Penguins Meet Bears During 'Enriching' Guided Walk Through Saint Louis Zoo

A group of penguins met their bear neighbours at the Saint Louis Zoo in Missouri during a guided walk with zookeepers on January 27.

Snowy weather made ideal waddling conditions as the king and gentoo penguins wandered the grounds of the zoo.

“Through the cooperation of our Bird and Carnivore animal care teams, our penguins were able to get up close to see the polar and grizzly bears. The penguins willingly approached,” the zoo said in a Twitter post. Credit: Saint Louis Zoo via Storyful
