Take peek at waterfront Bay Area home featured in Woody Allen film. Yours for $6.77M

Film director Woody Allen chose an airy waterfront Tiburon, California, home for scenes in his 2013 movie “Blue Jasmine,” starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin.

The San Francisco Bay Area residence at 79 St. Thomas Way in Paradise Cay is now on the market for $6.777 million, according to Compass real estate firm.

In the film, the bayside retreat is the home of Peter Sarsgaard’s character Dwight, who dates the title character played by Blanchett.

In real life, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom house is a stylish estate that spans 5,612 square feet with a floor plan offering expansive entertaining spaces, classy finishes and an easy indoor/outdoor lifestyle right beside the San Francisco Bay.

“This luxury waterfront residence is in a league of its own, all on one level, offering unparalleled scale and quality, with sweeping views of the bay and the San Rafael bridge from almost every room,” according to the property listing.

Shana Rohde-Lynch with Compass is the listing agent.

There’s a great room, bathed in natural light, that features the living room, dining room and family room — all opening onto an expansive waterfront terrace with postcard-worthy views. The interior has hardwood floors, soaring vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and custom shelving.

A chef-inspired kitchen boasts granite countertops, a large center island with counter seating, custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, all adjacent to a comfortable casual dining area.

A potential fifth bedroom could be used as an office.

The home sits on a 0.71-acre lot. Outside, there’s a level lawn, gardens and fruit trees.

“The incredible setting evokes relaxation and tranquility to create a private oasis from the busy world,” a Compass representative said in an email.
