Indian central bank to infuse record overnight funds post heavy FX intervention
India's central bank will infuse a record quantum of funds into the banking system through an overnight infusion on Wednesday, after it aggressively intervened in the foreign exchange (FX) market in the last two sessions. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will pour in 2.50 trillion rupees ($28.85 billion) through an overnight variable rate repo auction. The RBI sold between $4 billion and $7 billion on Monday as it intervened in the FX market to support the rupee.

Connecticut U.S. Rep. John Larson, who inexplicably stopped speaking during a speech Monday on the House of Representatives floor, said Tuesday night he had suffered a complex partial seizure. The 76-year-old Democrat, who is serving his 13th term, said the House attending physician referred him for further evaluation following the incident. During his speech, Larson is speaking normally before he suddenly stops, drops his arm and stares ahead, appearing to make chewing movements.
