Pedestrian struck by debris from crash, building collapse

An active rescue is underway Wednesday night after a car struck a vacant building that partially collapsed in east Baltimore. City police told 11 News that officers were called shortly before 9 p.m. to a vacant building near the intersection of East North Avenue and North Wolfe Street. Police said part of the building collapsed. Police said a pedestrian was injured in the collapse. Firefighters were seen sifting through the rubble through the 10 p.m. hour.
