Up for grabs at the upcoming Mecum Monterey auction this weekend, this is estimated to be one of only 14 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec IIs that have been (legally) imported to the United States. It’s going to be until the year 2026 until anymore can be, and this particular example is the car Paul Walker drove to promote the Fast and Furious films, and it’s going to be available this weekend for auction through Mecum’s Monterey event.

This NHTSA/EPA-compliant example very rare and desirable for car collectors. Obviously, anything touched by Walker ups the value, but it was also featured in several BFGoodrich ads, with a total of only 18,000 miles put on the clock in total.

It’s time to live that dream where you track down one highly-collectable, rare car and then have to decide if you’ll baby it for years and make bundles of cash or drive it for the sheer enjoyment. That’s the decision whoever buys this Nissan Skyline GT-R V Spec II will face and quite frankly we don’t feel the least bit sorry for that person. After all, they’ll be living everyone’s dream of not only owning THE Godzilla, a real R34, a car that’s essentially still forbidden fruit here in the US, but getting an ultra-rare version of the R34. See it here.
