The Patta x New Balance 990v3 Has an Official Launch Date

Amsterdam-based streetwear label Patta and New Balance announce the official release date of their upcoming iteration of the 990v3. Entering a new phase of collaboration, the duo created a sneaker for all members of the family.

The latest drop is a set to be a combination of a classic New Balance aesthetic and Patta’s signature style. A play on richly-textured materials and bold color blocking, it features the use of suede, mesh and synthetics on the upper. The sneaker is also dressed in olivine and punctuated with sandy and bold green-fluorescent accents, while a speckled neutral-toned midsole complements the design. Elsewhere, branding is kept minimal with a special Patta logo treatment stamped on the heel tab and on the heel counter.

Taking its third collaboration to new heights, the duo also rolled out its first-ever kids sneaker, while creating a capsule collection to complement the footwear with a range of crewneck sweatshirts, sweatpants and tees for both adults and kids.

The launch is accompanied by a campaign capturing a multi-generational family affair, shot by Namibian photographer Kyle Weeks and starring Patta kids and family.

Take a look at the campaign photos via the gallery above. Priced at $220 USD for adults and $70 to $90 USD for kids, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 is slated to drop on September 30 at Patta’s website. The pair is also set to launch globally on October 7 at New Balance’s stores.
