The noughties were a time of epic everythings. From epic low-rise jeans to epic it-couples (Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, we're looking at you). And that couldn't have been truer than when it came to celebrity feuds, which, you guessed it, were epic. But, while there are plenty of celebrity feuds worth noting, like Kanye West and Taylor Swift's, perhaps the most infamous of them all was between former BFFs Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

From their fashion to their films and even their wild nights out, Hilton and Lohan pretty much defined the noughties. But, it was their falling out that really caught everyone's attention – lasting more than a decade. Now though, it seems the former frenemies have put all that behind them, with Hilton this week opening up about how (and more importantly, why) the duo decided to call time on their feud.

Speaking to host Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, the 40-year-old heiress said she and the Mean Girls star are "in contact and buddies again", adding that their infamous falling out was "immature".

"I just feel that we're grownups now. I just got married, she just got engaged. We're not, like, in high school," The Simple Life star explained. "I think it was just very immature, and now everything is all good."

She continued: "I saw that she got engaged when I was on my honeymoon, and I just said congratulations. And then, that was it. No bad vibes."

Paris' confession comes just a few weeks after she offered an olive branch to Lohan during an episode of her This Is Paris podcast. "I saw Lindsay got engaged, and I know that we've had our differences in the past, but I just wanted to say congratulations to her," she said at the time. "I am genuinely very happy for her, and it just makes me so happy to see."
