Padma Lakshmi celebrated her final Emmy Awards for Top Chef with the perfect plus one — her daughter Krishna.
On Monday night, the celebrity chef, 53, shared a few behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram Story from her time at the 75th Annual Emmy Awards. Lakshmi brought her 13-year-old daughter Krishna along with her for the event, posing together for a few selfies.
In one, the teenager takes a wide-angle selfie of herself, her mom, The Bear actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach and his wife Yelena Yemchuk.
The mother-daughter duo later shared a close-up selfie where Krishna stuck her tongue out. "Girls night!! #Emmys," Lakshmi wrote across the photo.

While walking the Emmy's red carpet, Lakshmi was photographed with her daughter Krishna, who went full glam for the event. Wearing a bright green Marchesa dress, Lakshmi draped her arm around her daughter, who wore a black dress with feathers up the bottom.
Both mother and daughter wore their hair down, posing for the cameras as they leaned into one another.
In September, the celebrity chef announced that it’s been a “really busy week here in New York” on Instagram, so she was having her teenage daughter Krishna cook dinner.
Krishna, also referred to by the former Top Chef host as "Little Hands," said that she would be making butter sriracha couscous. She continued to explain that she came up with the dish when she was 11 years old and her mom “really liked it so she wants me to cook it today.”
“Do you like cooking?” asked the camera person.
In perfect comedic timing, Krishna then dropped the pat of butter and covered her face with her hand.
“I like cooking,” she answered after getting the butter in the pan and back on track. “I don’t know if it’s a generational thing but most of my food that I cook independently is done in the microwave and in a mug.”
She continued, “So when [my mom] cooks, she’s like, ‘Oh yeah, let’s bake it, let’s put it in the oven, let’s do a washed egg white glaze.’ And I’m like, ‘Can I just make instant ramen, please?’”
