Manhunt after shooting at Brussels underground station
Belgian police have launched a manhunt after a shooting near an underground station in the capital. It happened outside Clemenceau metro station in Brussels at around 6am local time on Wednesday. Clemenceau, Trone and Gare de l'Ouest underground stations have been closed to the public while police search for the perpetrators in the tunnels of the city's metro system, The Brussels Times reported.

CDW beats Q4 revenue estimates on strong IT solutions demand
Shares of the Vernon Hills, Illinois-based company rose 2.3% in premarket trading. SEOUL (Reuters) -South Korea's industry ministry has temporarily banned employee access to Chinese artificial intelligence startup DeepSeek due to security concerns, a ministry official said on Wednesday, as the government urges caution on generative AI services. State-run Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power said it had blocked use of AI services including DeepSeek earlier this month. The foreign ministry has restricted access to DeepSeek in computers that connect to external networks, Yonhap News Agency said.

In a report published following a review of four female jails, chief prisons inspector Charlie Taylor said this lack of "basic care" is causing such distress that inmates are resorting to harming themselves. None of the prisons allowed women to wash their dirty underwear in a machine - instead they had to wash it by hand in a small bowl in their cell.
