The stars of Outer Banks and Ginny & Georgia have been cast in a new young adult genre film coming from the producers of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy.

As detailed in The Hollywood Reporter, the project will be called Time Cut, and if the name alone doesn't give you science-fiction horror vibes, it's good to know that it is being described as where Back to the Future and Scream collide.

Outer Banks' Madison Bailey and Ginny & Georgia's Antonia Gentry will play the leading roles, with production on it said to begin in June in Canada.

The Into the Dark and Trinkets director is getting behind the camera for Time Cut, while The Marvelous Mrs Maisel's Sono Patel and Freaky's Michael Kennedy have written the script.

Meanwhile, both of the actresses' own shows are set to return for second seasons on Netflix, with the actresses planned to return.

Last year, Madison Bailey opened up about both her borderline personality disorder diagnosis and being pansexual.

Speaking about the latter, she said: "I feel like there's no cons (to coming out), and I have very accepting friends, a very accepting family, an industry that's very welcoming and very accepting. As far as pros go, being open and honest feels so good!

"To be so transparent, especially in an industry when a lot of people want to be in my personal life, it's nice that I can be like 'Here's my personal life. You can have it. It's fine.' I feel zero shame."
