What the Ontario COVID-19 lockdown is overlooking

While closing down stores and schools across Ontario does help slow acceleration of COVID-19 cases, the real growth is happening in small gatherings and essential work places that won’t be affected by the lockdown. Despite this, Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Sumon Chakrabarti says cases would be higher if the province stayed open, and the province has no choice to try to slow things down in a severe manner so contact tracing can be brought under control.
