The response: Trump attorneys Susan Necheles and Joseph Tacopina confirmed Trump’s indictment this evening, saying that the former president “did not commit any crime.”

Trump continues to deny any wrongdoing and recently warned of “potential death & destruction” if charges were filed against him.

What we know: While the charges have yet to be made public, the grand jury has been investigating Trump for hush money payments to two woman who’ve claimed to have had sex with the former president.
