OnPolitics: House GOP kicks off Biden investigations by grilling Twitter execs on Hunter's laptop

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., left, and Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., are seen during the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability hearing in February.

Hi again, OnPolitics readers! Back to our regularly scheduled OnPolitics programming.

The House Oversight Committee grilled former Twitter executives over the media coverage of Hunter Biden's laptop, specifically the blocking of the New York Post story in 2020 on the social media platform.

There were contentious moments between lawmakers as Republicans argued that the suppression of the story could have influenced the 2020 presidential election while Democrats called the inquiry "silly" and a "bizarre political stunt."
