One restaurant closed, two failed in latest Tarrant County health inspections

One restaurant was closed and two failed in the latest Tarrant County health inspections, according to data.

There were 212 inspections from Sept. 3 to Sept. 16.

Tarrant County Public Health inspects and scores all restaurants in Tarrant County except for those in Fort Worth, Arlington, Euless and North Richland Hills. Scores are based on a demerit system. When the total exceeds 29, a follow-up inspection is required.

Ms Saigon Pho Sushi & Bar at 242 Rufe Snow Drive in Keller was voluntarily closed on Sept. 9 due to inadequate refrigeration, but was reopened on Sept. 11 as the restaurant’s refrigeration was able to maintain proper temperatures.

CM Airstream at 4651 West Freeway in Fort Worth failed its inspection due to no hot water and issues with its refrigeration.

Carl’s Kitchen at 324 Shady Brook Lane in Cedar Hill also failed its inspection due to generator failure.

No restaurants received over 29 demerits.

Three restaurants had follow-up inspections:

  • Cowtown Dogs at 330 South Riverfront Blvd. in Dallas

  • Deuces Kitchen at 2702 Marjorie Ave. in Dallas

  • Ms Saigon Pho Sushi & Bar at 242 Rufe Snow Drive in Keller
