Meanwhile, Hunter remains fuming over Leah's involvement in his personal life and is humiliated that she tried to warn Christina against getting involved with him. Leah was only trying to protect Hunter and remains concerned about him getting involved with a university lecturer, but when Roo reiterates the point that Leah is perhaps using Hunter as a VJ replacement, Leah considers that she may have pushed the point too harshly.

Hunter pleads with Christina to not call time on their burgeoning relationship and at least hear him out. Over a coffee, she listens as Hunter pleads his case – he thinks they have a connection. Christina can't deny that there's an attraction there, but when pressed on the matter, she is conflicted in the moment – telling Hunter that she can't do this and fleeing.

When Hunter crosses with Olivia at her farewell, Olivia senses his darkened mood and assures him that he is very special to her and he should go for what he wants in life. Later, there's a knock on a motel door. Hunter answers and it's Christina. She's initially unsure about being there, yet is intrigued and tempted. When she steps inside, Hunter silences her with a kiss. She kisses him back and they get it on – with no-one to stop them.

Also today, Robbo confides in Jasmine about how he feels like he's been in fight or flight mode for a long time and how everything changed for him the night of the accident. Jasmine admits that everything changed for her too, but one of the positive aspects is all the help she's received since from the people of Summer Bay – perhaps Robbo should allow himself to receive the same help.

Also today, John apologises Marilyn, admitting he was afraid of losing his family and wants to move forward as a team.
