Olivia Jade shares photos of herself wearing a tank top in bed as social media return continues

Olivia Jade continued her return to social media this week, sharing two photos of herself in bed.

The 20-year-old daughter of "Fuller House" star Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a simple message with her millions of followers: "I hope you have a beautiful day," she wrote along with a cowboy emoji.

Jade rocks a spaghetti strap black tank top, two rings and a top-knot as she lays under the covers in bed in the series of two day-lit selfies.

Comments were limited on the post, so fan reactions were hard to come by. It represented her second Instagram post of the week after months of social media silence amid the college admissions scandal. Over the weekend, she posted a screenshot of her first YouTube video since the scandal broke, titled "hi again."

"Obviously I’ve been gone for a really long time and as much as I wish I could talk about all this, it’s really hard for me to say this just because I know that it’s something that needs to be addressed…" she said in the two-minute video. "It’s just unfortunately—which is also why I didn’t know exactly when I should come back to YouTube—the reason for that is just because I’m legally not allowed to speak on anything going on right now."

According to insiders close to her family, Olivia Jade got clearance and advice for her return to the public eye.

"Olivia is very happy to be back," a source told People. "And relieved -- she really has been thinking for months about when she could return. It was never a question if she would return, it was always about when was the appropriate time. Olivia got the clear from her parents and their lawyer team."

“She was coached about what she was allowed to say," the insider added. "She carefully followed a script. She seems very excited about starting up her vlog again."

The back-to-back Instagram posts this week followed just two other photos that she shared on her Instagram grid since March, when her parents were arrested as part of the nationwide college admissions scandal. The other two posts? A throwback photo in July to wish Loughlin a happy birthday and a since-deleted photo from August that showed her giving two middle fingers to various media outlets with the caption "#close #source #says."

While Jade's parents continue to fight the charges brought against them as part of the admissions scandal, it seems as though Jade is hoping to get back to the life she had before March. One thing that will be unavoidably different? She and her sister, Bella Rose, are no longer enrolled at USC, the school that their parents are accused of paying $500,000 to get them into.
