Olivia Attwood thought Loose Women offer was a joke
Olivia Attwood thought an offer for her to become a 'Loose Women' panelist "was a joke".
The 32-year-old 'Love Island' star has confessed she's been watching the show for years and thought it would be "surreal" to be a part of it despite having been a guest several times - and she was stunned to given a formal offer to join the panel last year.
She told OK! magazine: "It wasn't something that was on the mood board. It all happened really organically. I was a guest on the show a couple of times, and I always loved it when I was.
"I joked to my agent saying 'Imagine me as a Loose Woman' and she said she really could. Then one of the show's bosses got in touch and we went out for lunch, she asked me how I would feel about trying it out, and I said, 'Oh my God, are you serious?' I almost thought it was a joke."
Olivia added: "I watched that show on TV when I was a kid, when I was off sick from school - my mum would always have it on the telly, so it's quite surreal to be doing it now."
She went on to insist she gets on well with all the other panelists and credits them with giving her plenty of tips and advice.
Olivia has carved out a successful career in TV following her stint in the 'Love Island' villa back in 2017 - filming her own series of documentaries for ITV exploring issues such as porn, trolling and beauty standards as well as shooting reality show 'Olivia Marries Her Match' about her wedding to Bradley Dack.
