The saga continues...

Offset, who if you don't know is a rapper who’s married to Cardi B, got in a big crash while in his 2018 Dodge Charger back on November 11, 2020, and the drama is still going strong. There have been accusations Offset was the one who caused the accident, while he maintains he didn’t, and it’s just been a nasty legal battle ever since.

Now, a report from Radar Online claims court documents filed by Offset requested a Los Angeles judge dismiss all claims brought against him by an insurance company. What’s more, the rapper reportedly filed a countersuit for $150,000 in damages.

The other driver was traveling in a 2019 Honda Civic on the US 101 highway in Encino, California when the collision happened. According to the insurance company which filed suit, Offset was driving negligently and caused the collision which injured a passenger in the Civic and devalued the car by over $10,000.

What’s more, the insurance company claims Offset’s Mopar muscle car wasn’t insured at the time of the accident. They want him to fork over in excess of $26,000. However, Offset and his lawyer are arguing the other drive was the one who was being irresponsible while behind the wheel by changing lanes without looking first. That caused the rapper to swerve into a sound wall, destroying his Charger, which he claims was valued at over $150,000. We’re not sure what modifications he was running on that thing, but that’s a lot of money even if it was a Redeye Widebody.

This isn’t Offset’s first rodeo when it comes to bad car accidents. He ran into a tree in his Dodge Charger back in May of 2018, leaving him with serious injuries.

Reportedly, Cardi B posted on Twitter right after the accident that “Crazy how Set had to swerve and hit a tree cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself. But God do unexplainable things! Luckily a man was walking by, walking him home and just vanished. The Lord is real.”
