It's Official, Sephora Is Coming Back to the UK

Cult beauty retailer Sephora is finally making its way to the U.K., after years and years of rumors. The LVMH-owned retailer, who currently exists in countless cities over the globe, has long been due a return to the British market since it first opened here in 2000. Back then, it had about nine physical stores in operation, which slowly closed down by 2005 as the retailer stepped away from shipping to the U.K. altogether.

That changed about a year ago, when Sephora acquired online beauty business FeelUnique, which will now be replaced by Sephora's U.K. offering. The major retailer reportedly has plans for physical expansion too, with rumors that it's set to open its first physical store next Spring, already circulating.

While a lot still remains unknown about Sephora's move, we already know that brands like Gisou, Fenty Beauty and Pat McGrath Labs are some of the few that will be made available on the U.K. site.

Sephora's new U.K. offering will be available to shop on the retailer's website from October 17.
