The latest installment of the Fox competition series may have just kicked off but fans are already putting out their guesses for who could be hiding behind the mask. Who is Octopus on The Masked Singer?

• Octopus is different shades of purple with a total of eight “tentacles” throughout its costume.

• Octopus is wearing a two-toned purple suit with gold detailing and sparkly dress shoes. The contestant also has on a fuzzy cape over its shoulders. Their ensemble is completed with a purple fedora with a tiger print band, gold chain necklaces and black sunglasses.

• Octopus has a smile with two gold teeth and a thin black mustache.

• In The Masked Singer’s preview episode, the first clue was a person dunking a chocolate chip cookie into a glass of milk.

• What’s more, former NFL 49ers wide receiver and Hall of Famer Jerry Rice made a cameo. “Just imagine how many touchdowns I would’ve caught with eight arms,” he said shaking his head.

Originally from Long Beach, California, Clavin Broadus a.k.a Snoop Dogg first started off as a rapper in the early ‘90s. Through the years, he’s transcended into a film star, entrepreneur and pop culture icon. After he was discovered by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg spent the first 10 years of his career dominating the rap world before he began appearing in movies. Octopus’s look is reminiscent of Snoop Dogg’s character in the 2005 action comedy flick Starsky & Hutch starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. In it, he portrayed Huggy Bear, a streetwise informant. Snoop Dogg has worn similar outfits off camera at events, including a suit with a fuzzy jacket, fedora and sunglasses. In addition to these fashion moments, Snoop Dogg stands at 6’4" — tall enough to be Octopus.
